I wish I had more to share with you.  The EV1 was a fun car to drive and it did draw a bit of attention when it silently crept through a parking lot.  I was so disappointed when GM scrapped the project.  The technology there was quite an achievement and I feel, should have been an option for people like me that didn't mind plugging in their cars at night.

Please look for the movie "Who Killed the Electric Car".  The folks at Plug In America tell the story in great detail.  Sad to say it shows what power the automotive industry has over us.
