There were very few things to check under the hood.  About the only thing there was the coolant and power steering fluids as well as the brake fluid.  It made for a very clean look in the engine compartment

All in all, it would have been nice to have been able to purchase an EV1.  It is a great little commuter car and the programmable heating and air conditioning system (when it is connected to a 220v charger) were so nice in the hot and humid Georgia summers.  Just tell the car when you would return and the cabin would be at just the right temperature when you hop in.  Needless to say, I always looked for stores that offered EV1 parking and charging facilities.
