The wraparound console was very cool.  Enough lights to satisfy just about anyone.

Among the many indicators, there was even one for "Low Tire Pressure".  The EV₁ use a 50psi tire that is very narrow compared to your average automobile.  This offers a very low rolling resistance for good electron mileage.  The middle display shows your rate of discharge (or charge status), speed, trip meter, estimated range, hours to recharge along with your normal "Check Message" light.
